Architectural plans created by Kahn & Jacobs, Architects for the creation of the Atran General Laboratory Building and the Henry W. Berg, MD Research Institute. These buildings were built in the same project as the Magdalene and Charles Klingenstein Pavilion, the maternity facility facing 5th Avenue.

Beeper belonging to a Mount Sinai physician was recovered by the New York City Police Department and logged as evidence after the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The beeper is in good condition and is stored in a plastic Police evidence bag, ID # A0036816. It is Invoice # WT009303.

This series includes original casebooks from the Pediatric and Neurology Services. Burrill Crohn, MD made many of the entries in the Neurology volume. He was a member of the House Staff during this period. The service was run by Bernard Sachs, MD. Henry Koplik, MD was the Chief of the Pediatrics Department in 1910.

The Children's Division volume includes conditions such as bronchitis, entero-colitis, diptheria, gastroenteritis, pneumonia, influenza, measles, meningitis, idiocy, congenital syphilis, typhoid, marasmus, poliomyelitis, chronic diffuse nephritis, and many others.
