From its inception, the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine has concentrated on research, as well as providing patient care. The Division’s research has been funded through grants from private and federal sources, as well as by labor unions, which funded projects investigating the health of their workers. Many of the publications here are a result of those grants and contracts. The Library Items series consists primarily of reports created by Division staff on a variety of topics. These include annual reports of grant projects, reports on topics, draft papers, and presentations. These items were given a colored paper cover and were placed in the Division’s library for shared usage.
