A book plate designed for Bernard Sachs, MD (1858-1944), first Director of Neurology at The Mount Sinai Hospital, 1900-1925. He described the neurological aspects of Tay-Sachs disease. Dr. Sachs is shown browsing the ledger in which patient case histories were recorded.
