Dr. Constantine Anagnostopoulos is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. He was born in Salonica, Greece and came to the US in 1958. He attended Georgetown University, and the University of Athens, Greece, and then trained for medicine at Columbia University, and Yale University. He taught at Yale University School of Medicine, The University of Chicago, SUNY Stony Brook before coming the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in the 1990s to establish the full-time Cardiothoracic Surgery service.

Arthur J. Antenucci, MD joined the medical staff of Roosevelt Hospital in 1934. He served as Chief of Medicine from 1957 until 1970, and as Editor-in-Chief of, “The American Journal of Medicine,” from 1971 to 1986. Dr. Antenucci served as consulting physician to officers of many large corporations during his long association with the Hospital Center. He served an unprecedented two terms as President of Roosevelt’s Medical Board. Widely considered the premier diagnostician of the time, his philosophy - that doctor and patient must work together as partners to maintain health - was visionary and his diagnostic expertise was legendary.
