Howard D. Zucker, MD (1916-2010) spent most of his career as a psychiatrist at The Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He and Richard Gorlin, MD, Chairman of Medicine at Mount Sinai, led an effort to build a stronger humanities program at the School. From this grew a film, 'A Complicating Factor,' which was widely distributed around the country.
