The Friedman Brain Institute is an interdisciplinary hub for the study and treatment of brain and spinal cord disorders. The Institute was established in 2008 as the Brain Institute at Mount Sinai under the direction of Eric Nestler, MD, PhD. In 2010 it was renamed the Friedman Brain Institute in honor of a gift from Mount Sinai Trustee Richard A. Friedman and his wife Susan.

- This website documents the 2020 installation of the "Art of the Brain" exhibition at El Taller Latino Americano Gallery in New York, New York. The exhibition includes over thirty photographs and illustrations of the brain created by Mount Sinai staff and faculty.
