Dr. Eliasoph (1899-1970) was a long time member of the Department of Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital. He developed one of the first, if not the first, successful portable oxygen tent.

This collection includes folders on Dr. Eliasoph's development of an early oxygen tent, 1921-1931, including correspondence with Good Year Rubber Co. and schematics for the tent; letter from Dr. Eliasoph (1970); slides and prints of schematics, etc. There is also one file of certificates presented to Dr. Eliasoph.
